Location and general characteristics

The Regina neighborhood, located on the south side of Minneapolis, is bound in the north by 42nd Street East, in the east by Chicago Avenue, in the south by 46 th Street East and in the west by Interstate 35W. This is a residential neighborhood with mostly small single-family houses built before 1940. The neighborhood is named for the former Regina parochial school

The Town Oaks Townhome complex, located in the center of the Regina neighborhood at 43 rd Street and 4 th Avenue South, consists of 112 townhomes which were constructed in the 1970's. It is the largest housing complex in the neighborhood, and one of the city's first modern townhouse projects
