Minneapolis offers Automatic Bill Payment (ABP) for your water, sewer, solid waste services and stormwater. With ABP, you can pay your Utility Bill automatically from your checking or savings account. Proof of payment is displayed on your bank statement. ABP saves time and postage expenses and helps avoid hassles and late payments.
Note: DirectPaymentPlan.com is a secure site for processing ABP applications. After all the relevant information has been submitted, DirectPaymentPlan.com forwards your information to the City via a secure site.
To be eligible for ABP, your water meter must have a working automatic meter reading device. If yours is not working, or you do not have one, call (612) 673-1114 to have one installed free of charge.
Be sure to pay your bill as normal until your bill statement is labeled "Auto Payment".
