Health Plans and Screening

It is recommended that children who are enrolled in Minnesota Health Care Programs receive blood lead testing at ages 1 and 2.

Health plans are able to offer gift card incentives to families when children aged 9 to 30 months receive their scheduled lead tests. Additional incentives are also available to families when a child receives a Child & Teen Checkup.
