Powderhorn Park
The Powderhorn Park neighborhood, represented by the Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association , is a community of creative and artistically minded individuals and families from around the world.
With expansive Powderhorn Park as its centerpiece, the community hosts several of the city’s most popular annual cultural events including the Powderhorn Arts Festival and the May Day Festival produced by the In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theater .
In Powderhorn, you will find the Pillsbury House and community institutions like the May Day Caf and Ingebretsen’s (the longest family owned business on Lake Street).
On the last Friday of each month (January October), you will find Council Member Gary Schiff at the Mercado Central where he hosts "Breakfast with Gary" from 7:30am – 9am. The public is welcome, so please join Gary for breakfast in Powderhorn.
