Neighborhood Crime Statistics

The Minneapolis Police Department generates neighborhood crime statistics reports each month. They are available in two formats; here on this page in PDF, or on the City of Minneapolis Open Data Portal (ODP) in downloadable Excel format (for August 2017 and later). For Excel format for January - July 2017, click the respective Excel Month links below. For Excel format for 2016 earlier, click the Previous Years links at the bottom of this page.

The MPD neighborhood crime statistics use the same crime categories as the Uniform Crime Report Part I offenses, but are counted differently. Read how these reports differ from Uniform Crime Statistic.
