The Minneapolis Police Department ensures that deaf and hard-of-hearing people have full and equal enjoyment of its services privileges, facilities, advantages and accommodations. It will provide Auxiliary Aids and Services at no cost to ensure effective communication with these individuals.
For emergencies, call 911. TTY users can call 911 directly. Text-to-911 is available in Minneapolis.
For non-emergencies, call 311. People who are deaf or head of hearing can use a relay service to call 311 at 612-673-3000.
