Pawn Shop Items Check

Items pawned in Minneapolis pawn shops and in some suburban and outlying cities are automatically matched against property reported as stolen, lost or recovered with the MPD. This is done through the MPD's Automated Pawn System ( APS).

Contact your local police precinct Property Crimes Unit to find out if your lost or stolen items are pawned..

You can update your police report with additional items or information, such as serial numbers, model numbers, or descriptions. Contact your local precinct Property Crimes Unit.

We can answer general questions about pawn shops and how we work with them.
