How to help those affected by the tornado

Since the tornado ripped through north Minneapolis May 22, 2011, thousands of people from Minneapolis and across the region have helped those affected by the tornado.

The quickest and easiest way to help those affected is to donate funds. The Minneapolis Foundation has establishedthe Minnesota Helps - North Minneapolis Recovery Fund to assist with both short-term and long-term housing and recovery-related needs on the North Side.
