"ICE" your phone for emergency responders

Putting your phone on "ICE" will help emergency responders do their jobs and may also save your life.

The ICE Your Phone

Entering "ICE" next to your emergency contact person will allow emergency personnel to contact this person and obtain important information about you in the event that you are incapacitated and/or unable to answer questions about your condition or medical history. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported in 2006 that 1.6 million emergency room patients could not provide contact information because they were incapacitated.
