Wear Twins gear to work Oct. 6 to celebrate first playoff game at Target Field

Whether they’re attending game one of the American League Division Series between the Minnesota Twins and New York Yankees, coming Downtown to soak up the atmosphere, or just want to support the team, Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak is encouraging folks to wear their Twins gear to work on Wednesday, Oct. 6, to celebrate the first-ever playoff game at Target Field.

If you’re going to the ballpark or coming Downtown for work or other entertainment, folks are encouraged to take advantage of transit options, walk, or bike on game days. If you’re driving, be aware that the closer you get to Target Field, the more traffic you will encounter. The good news is that there are more than 30,000 parking spaces in walking distance to the ballpark.
