Tours showcase homes for sale in south and northeast Minneapolis

The City of Minneapolis and LiveMSP are sponsoring housing tours in south and northeast Minneapolis to showcase a variety of homes on the market and various neighborhood amenities in communities that are bouncing back from foreclosures. The City is partnering with realtors and community developers to showcase housing at a variety of price points. The tours are one approach the City is taking to support revitalization occurring in the housing market.

South Minneapolis tour
Sunday, June 6, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Begins at Midtown Global Market, 920 East Lake St.

Northeast Minneapolis tour
Sunday, June 13, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Begins at Rogue Buddha Gallery, 357 13th Avenue NE

Participants can pick up their tour map, enjoy refreshments, talk to neighbors and learn about homebuyer programs at an open house at the start of the tour. For-sale homes will be open from noon – 3:00 p.m., allowing participants to tour at their own pace. Tour maps will be available the day of the event at the open house.

Neighborhoods on the tour in South Minneapolis include West Phillips; Midtown Phillips; Phillips East; Central; Powderhorn Park; Corcoran; Bancroft.

Neighborhoods on the tour in Northeast Minneapolis include Columbia Park; Waite Park; Marshall Terrace; Audubon Park; Bottineau; Holland; Windom Park; Sheridan; Logan Park; Beltrami; Northeast Park.
