Minneapolis named one of "America’s best cities"
Minneapolis has been named one of "Americas best cities," according to Outside magazine. In its list, published in the August issue, the magazine ranked Minneapolis eighth out of the 100 most-populated cities in the country.
Outside’s list is based on public data that the magazine used to rank cities on factors like cost of living, unemployment, nightlife, commute time, and access to green spaces. The magazine also looked at the percentage of the population with college degrees, income level in relation to home prices, weather, and outdoor recreation opportunities.
According to Outside, Minneapolis achieved this ranking thanks to its affordability, education, diversified economy, and year-round outdoor recreational opportunities.
Colorado Springs, CO topped Outside’s’ list.
