Follow bills at the Capitol with Policy Pulse

You can track the progress of important bills at the Legislature with Policy Pulse, a weekly newsletter the Intergovernmental Relations Department recently launched.

Last week marked the start of the 2014 legislative session at the Capitol. Although this year’s session will focus on striking irrelevant and unwanted laws off the books, Minneapolis also has its eyes on new policies being considered. Legislators have begun discussing issues such as capital investment, changes to tax policy and a comprehensive transportation plan. These bills will go through many changes throughout the session, and Policy Pulse will keep your department up to date on how the evolving policies may affect your work.

Sign up to receive Policy Pulse emails. For more information about Minneapolis’ policy priorities, check out the City’s 2014 Legislative Agenda.
