Building Commission moves back into renovated City Hall office space

The Municipal Building Commission (MBC) administration has moved back into its newly refurbished office space in City Hall Room 105. The move does not affect the office’s email addresses, fax numbers or phone numbers.

The move is just the most recent round of moves required to accommodate a multi-staged plan to install new fire alarm, smoke detection and sprinkler systems as well as upgrade City Hall’s heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems. The life safety upgrade project began in 2000 and, due to its scope, is being tackled in 23 stages that will not be completed until 2016. Currently, the renovation has reached stage 18.
