Free event offers financial information for folks looking to buy a home

If you’re looking to buy a home, be sure to check out the Homeownership & Banking Fair. The free event is Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Studio 185 of International Market Square, 275 Market St., Minneapolis.

The fair is an opportunity to learn about loans, down payments and other resources for future homeowners.  Organized by the City of Minneapolis and the Minnesota Homeownership Center, the fair is an opportunity for folks to get their banking, lending, homeownership questions answered.

Homeownership advisors and educators, non-profit housing developers, and lenders including BMO Harris, Bremer Bank, Bank of America, Minnesota Housing, Twin City Federal, U.S. Bank and Wells Fargo will be on hand at the event.
