Today’s tip – Reboot your computer for better performance

Rebooting your computer every few days will improve its performance. Re-booting releases the hold on any open system resources and resets everything. Even if you have closed all applications, there may still be residual effects or background processes running — restarting ensures those are removed.

How to reboot your computer

  1. Click your Start button in the bottom left corner
  2. Click Shut Down
  3. Click the drop down arrow and choose Restart
  4. Click OK

Your PC will shut down and then start up again. (This may take five minutes.)
