There’s still time to enjoy the Holidazzle parade

There are still a few opportunities to get out and enjoy the Holidazzle parade which features characters marching in lighted costumes, illuminated floats, marching bands, celebrity grand marshals, and Santa in his sleigh.

The last dates of the 2012 Target Holidazzle parade are Dec. 20, 21, 22 and 23. Each parade begins at 6:30 p.m. and lasts about 30 minutes. The parade travels northbound on Nicollet Mall from 12th Street to 4th Street.

The Holidazzle parade began in 1992 and is an annual Downtown Minneapolis tradition. Parade-goers are asked to bring a food or cash donation to benefit the Emergency Food Network. Donations are collected before the parade and during the parade when the Circus Train chugs down Nicollet Mall.
