Upcoming events at the Minneapolis Convention Center

The Minneapolis Convention Center is a City-owned, state-of-the-art facility that hosts more than 500 events annually, drawing nearly a million attendees each year. Here are two events that will be held at the Convention Center this weekend.

Diabetes Expo

Diabetes experts will be on hand to answer questions, offer fitness and cooking demonstrations, provide free screenings and talk about healthy eating and active living. Workshops and exhibits will help attendees learn about newest diabetes products, technology, resources and treatments. Medical professionals will be on hand to answer questions and cooking and exercise demonstrations are planned

Wedding Fair

The wedding fair showcases the products and services needed to plan pre-nuptial events, weddings and honeymoons. More than 200 wedding experts will be on hand. The fair features the latest in ideas for favors, custom invitations, gifts and decorating. The fashion show features wedding party styles and is repeated throughout the day.
