- Bali Cherry
- Prairiefire Crabapple
- Red Bud (tree form)
- Bur Oak

The City of Minneapolis is offering 1,500 trees on a first-come, first-served basis (one tree per property owner). The Tree Trust began accepting orders March 12. Be sure to order early for best selection. Trees will be available for pick up at the Minneapolis Impound Lot between May 12 and 14.
Since 2006, the City of Minneapolis has funded the City Trees program, a low-cost way for residents to help build the city’s tree canopy. Planting a tree is a great way to create a shady spot in your yard, provide habitat for wildlife, save energy, mitigate storm water runoff, and increase property values. In the past five years, the City Trees program has made it possible for 6,000 trees to be planted in Minneapolis.
The trees program helps the City meet its eco-focused City goal that recognizes trees as a solid green investment.
