Library’s spring clearance sale offers can’t-be-beat prices on used books, music and videos
Looking for some kids books, vacation reading or just a good deal? If so, be sure to take advantage of the Friends of the Hennepin County Library’s spring clearance sale.
The Friends bookstore inside the Minneapolis Central Library, 300 Nicollet Mall, is offering progressively better deals as the month of March progresses. Depending on when you stop by, used books (hardcover and paperback), music and videos will be priced between $1 and 25 cents. All proceeds benefit the Friends of Hennepin County Library and programs and services at the library
Clearance sale schedule
Through March 16
All used books, music and videos are 50 percent off their usual price. (Most books are regularly priced at $2.)
March 17 – 23
All used books, music and videos are 25 cents each.
March 24 – 31
All the used books, music and videos you can fit into a grocery bag for $2.
