Employees invited to farewell reception honoring City Coordinator

Join Minneapolis City leaders and your colleagues at a farewell reception honoring City Coordinator Steven Bosacker for his work and leadership at the City of Minneapolis. The reception is set for:
Thursday, March 1
2 – 4 p.m.
City Hall Rotunda.

The reception is open to all employees, with cookies and punch provided by Minneapolis City department heads.

On Feb. 2, Bosacker announced that he had asked Mayor R.T. Rybak not to re-nominate him to the City Coordinator position, so he can pursue a life-long dream to spend a year traveling the world.

Bosacker has served as City Coordinator since January 2006 and will be stepping down from his position in early March. He has been an employee with the City since 2004, and as City Coordinator, he has driven major changes in the way the City sets goals, works to achieve them, and focuses on results to improve the work it does and the services it provides.

A search for a new City Coordinator will be led by the Mayor’s office. Until a new City Coordinator is appointed, former Deputy City Coordinator Jayne Khalifa will be serving in an interim capacity.
