Major portions of I-35W closing for improvements: Learn alternative ways to get to work

This year, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) begins major construction on Interstate 35W that will affect everyone in south Minneapolis who uses the freeway to get to and from Downtown. An engagement event at the Minneapolis Central Library will help you learn alternative ways of getting around during the [email protected] Downtown to Crosstown project.

Construction began last year and is expected to last through the 2021 construction season. This year major portions will close, including all exits connecting I-35W traffic to Downtown.
