How media and the public can get data from the City

In its ongoing work to increase transparency in government, the City of Minneapolis is hosting a session to show how to request public data from the City. The news media are invited, and the public is invited. The session will take place on National Freedom of Information Day, Thursday, March 16.

Staff from the City Clerk’s Office will walk attendees through the process for making data requests and discuss changes to that process under consideration. Staff would also like to hear from the people who make data requests about how the data requesting process works for them.
