City Council to discuss proposed ordinance for funding streets and neighborhood parks

Public hearing takes place April 27 at Committee of the Whole 

The City Council’s Committee of the Whole will hear from the public on a proposed ordinance to provide additional funding for City streets and neighborhood parks for the next 20 years.

Members of the City Council and Mayor Betsy Hodges have drafted a proposed ordinance that would make it possible to provide long-term funding to equitably address longstanding maintenance and operation needs for City streets and neighborhood parks. During the Committee of the Whole meeting, the council members will take feedback from the public about the proposed ordinance.
