Winners now declared in all City Council wards

 

Tabulation of the three remaining Minneapolis City Council races is now complete, and the unofficial winners are:

Ward 5: Blong Yang
Ward 9:
Alondra Cano
Ward 13:
Linea Palmisano

To see detailed results for these races, visit vote.minneapolismn.gov. Note that results become official when they are certified by the Minneapolis City Council, which serves as the Canvassing Board. All results are tentatively expected to be certified on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 9 a.m.

For races in which a winner couldn’t be declared on election night, those races are being tabulated one at a time, in the order in which the offices are listed on the ballot. A random order was drawn to handle City Council wards and Park and Recreation Board districts.

Here is the order in which the remaining races will be tabulated:
