Nominate your “Homegrown Hero” by Nov. 15 and save Dec. 5 for the Homegrown Minneapolis open house

The Homegrown Minneapolis Food Council celebrates another year of healthy, sustainable, locally grown foods in the City of Minneapolis. The open house will feature an information fair, honor young people who serve their communities, and present the 2013 Homegrown Heroes awards.

Nominate your Homegrown hero (pdf). Homegrown Minneapolis will also honor community members who exemplify the vision of Homegrown Minneapolis by helping grow, process, distribute, eat or compost more local food in Minneapolis. All nomination forms are due to Vish Vasani by Nov. 15.
