Watch your mailboxes for 2013 voter information guide

Residents of Minneapolis should watch their mailboxes early this week for their 2013 voter information guide. Minneapolis Elections & Voter Services has sent a mailer to each household that includes important information on what’s on the ballot, how to vote using ranked-choice voting, where and when to vote, and more. If you’re not registered to vote, it also includes information on what you need to do to register at the polls on Election Day, Nov. 5.

Each mailer also includes a sample ballot for the precinct in which the resident lives. Voters can use the ballot to plan ahead for Election Day, to make voting go faster and smoother. You can even fill out your sample ballot ahead of time and bring it with you to the polls to help you fill out your official ballot in the voting booth.

A precinct map and polling place list is also included in the mailing to help folks find out where to vote on Election Day.
