Minneapolis/Saint Paul best metro area in U.S. for young job seekers

If you’re in your 20s and looking for a job, Minneapolis is the place to be.

According to a new study by the Georgetown Center on Education and the Workforce, Minneapolis/Saint Paul is the number one metro area in the country for young job seekers.

The study looked at U.S Census data from 2010 and found that Minneapolis/Saint Paul has the highest employment rate (79.6 percent) for 21- to 30-year-olds in the country. The study only looked at cities with populations of at least 200,000.

Columbus, Ohio; Denver/Boulder, Colo.; Washington D.C.; and Salt Lake City/Ogden, Utah round out the top five cities in the U.S. for young job seekers.
