Check your registration online for Nov. 6 election
Are you pre-registered for the Nov. 6 General Election?
At www.mnvotes.org voters can use the Voter Registration Lookup to confirm they are registered to vote. The deadline to pre-register to vote in the upcoming general election is Tuesday, October 16. Voters must re-register if they move, change their name, or have not voted for the past four years. Voters can register by filling out a registration application at city and county government offices or print an application from our website and mail it to Minneapolis Elections, 350 S. Fifth St. – Room 1B, Minneapolis, MN 55415-1396.
This online tool will let voters know whether their polling place has changed due to redistricting, and provide information on how to register, a list of candidates and ballot questions, and a Sample Ballot for the precinct.
Voters who miss the deadline to pre-register may still be able to vote. In Minnesota individuals may register at the polls on Election Day by providing one of the forms of identification required by Minnesota law. Please allow extra time at the polls to register. See our website for the list of identification required to register and vote on Election Day.
