In the City of Minneapolis, taxicabs are licensed by the city. For your own protection, you should use only licensed taxicabs . You may call for a taxi, hail one on the street or pick one up at a Minneapolis taxi stand in Uptown or Warehouse District. Taxis are always available in Saint Paul and for our visitors at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport .

There are many other ways to get around including mass transit, bikes, and walking.
