Director – Surface Water & Sewer

This position is responsible for the oversight of the surface water and sanitary sewer engineering functions within the Public Works Department.  This includes planning, programming, coordinating, designing, managing financial resources and compliance with State and Federal laws, mandates and regulations involved.  Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; ten years of progressively responsible experience in a Public Works environment including design, construction management, operations and maintenance of sanitary and storm sewer systems and a minimum of three years management experience.  An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered. Security Officer - Municipal Building Commission

This position is responsible for monitoring and patrolling the City Hall and Courthouse premises in a manner consistent with established policies and procedures which will secure the premises against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry after hours, and to provide information services to building occupants and the public. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent or demonstrated reading, comprehension and writing skills and three (3) years of security experience; OR approved equivalent of training and experience.
