Access and Outreach Manager

The City of Minneapolis has an opening for an appointed position within the Neighborhood & Community Relations Department (NCR). The Access and Outreach Manager directs a team of staff responsible for facilitating meaningful engagement with underrepresented communities where cultural norms or practices, language or disabilities have historically limited knowledge and access to government. The position supports resident involvement in decision making on matters of importance in the communities and the city as a whole. The City of Minneapolis – Department of City Council is seeking candidates for the position of Council Member Office Associate. Council Member Office Associates are politically appointed, at will positions that are responsible for assisting the appointing Council Member with a variety of official duties and responsibilities. The Fire Department has a transfer opportunity available for Office Support Specialist II (OSS II)

The Administration Division of the Fire Department has a transfer opportunity available for a Grade 5 or higher City employee to serve as an OSS II. The OSS II is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support in accordance with standard procedures and general understanding of Fire department functions to assist staff in meeting the goals of the department.
