Innovative Graffiti Prevention Micro Grants
The City of Minneapolis, Division of Solid Waste and Recycling has announced the availability of “micro grants” for innovative prevention of gang related and other types of graffiti in 2013. Currently, a total of $150,000 is available. The intent of this program is to assist communities and community-based organizations with innovative projects designed to remove and prevent gang related and other types of graffiti or offer anti-graffiti education programs in their community.
This program is intended to aid the City of Minneapolis in reaching its five-year goal of ‘A Safe Place to Call Home: Guns, Gangs, Graffiti Gone’.
The application deadline for the 2013 grant proposals is March 29, 2013.
