Minneapolis Urban Forestry Project
Through the Urban Forestry Project, Minneapolis businesses and non-profit organizations are eligible to have trees planted on their properties. Planting trees on commercial properties is essential for reducing energy costs, better managing storm water, reducing atmospheric carbon dioxide, and increasing livability in our city.
Requests for 2016 spring and fall plantings are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Trees cost $25 each.
The project provides a consultation with a landscaper about the best trees for your property.
Trees are professionally planted, mulched, and include watering bags to assist you in caring for the trees.
