Midtown Greenway Land Use and Development Plan Request for Proposals

February 2005

The Department of Community Planning and Economic Development (CPED), Division of Planning is requesting proposals for the preparation of the Midtown Greenway Land Use and Development Plan, in an amount not to exceed $80,000.  The purpose of the plan is to provide the City with a clear policy direction for land use and development along the Midtown Greenway.  The plan will evaluate the long-term viability of existing land uses along the corridor.  It will propose future use of land along the Midtown Greenway and particular development concepts for selected opportunity sites—taking into consideration the development of Lake Street as well as anticipated rail transit under consideration for the area.  It will explore possible approaches to addressing certain key implementation issues.
