The Minneapolis Plan for Sustainable Growth
The Minneapolis Plan for Sustainable Growth was unanimously adopted by the Minneapolis City Council on October 2, 2009. Prior to City adoption, the Plan was approved by the Metropolitan Council on July 22, 2009 along with a memorandum of understanding, clarifying an agreement between the Metropolitan Council and the City regarding updates to the sewer plan. The Minneapolis Plan for Sustainable Growth was retired on December 31, 2019, the current city comprehensive plan can be found at Minneapolis 2040.
