Capacity Building Institute

The Capacity Building Institute is a training model that supports ongoing development and engagement for those who live, work, and play in Minneapolis around trauma, resilience and systems change. The purpose of the institute is to increase the capacity of community to respond to stress and trauma that arises on a daily basis as well as during times of high stress. Review the calendar below for training opportunities.

The first set of training will be launching Saturday, January 13, 2018. More information about these initial trainings can be found on the Capacity Building Institute Flier. The youth track will begin Feb. 20 and more information can be found on the Youth Capacity Building Institute flier. To register, please follow the instructions under 'How to Register' below.

The calendar will promote the trainings ReCAST Minneapolis offers as well as similar trainings being offered by other community organizations. If your organization has an upcoming training that meets the goals of ReCAST Minneapolis' Capacity Building Institute, please complete this form. Once reviewed, the training will appear on the calendar with information for community members to register.

To register for a training, double click on the event and click on the registration link. To complete your registration, be sure to submit the Capacity Building Institute pre-survey. If you are having trouble registering, please email [email protected].
