Section 3 Application Open House
When:
Wednesday, July 30th from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Where: Minneapolis City Hall (350 South 5th Street) – Room 241 (Martin Luther King Conference Room)
Event Info: The City of Minneapolis will be hosting a series of Section 3 application open houses. Open houses are an opportunity for individuals interested in learning more about the Section 3 program to meet with a Contract Compliance Officer and ask questions or get help completing the application process. Open houses are held once per month. Appointments are not necessary. Individuals who attend will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Contract Compliance Training for CPED Construction Projects

Event Info: The City of Minneapolis Contract Compliance Division will be hosting an all-day seminar/training for Developers and General Contractors who works on City of Minneapolis projects managed by the Community Planning and Economic Development Department (CPED). Seminar topics to include, but are not limited to:
· Contract terms
· Davis-Bacon Requirements
o Certified Payroll Reports and wage issues (overtime, prevailing wage, wage decisions, etc…)
o Additional wage classification requests
o Apprenticeship verifications and documentation
· LCPtracker
· Pre-construction booklet
· Small and Underutilized Business Program
o Certifications
o Goals
· Making a Good Faith Effort
· Workforce Goals (6% Female, 32% Minority)
· HUD Section 3
