Maps & Where to Ride

A new Minneapolis bike map is available at all Minneapolis bike shops and libraries. If a bike shop or library has run out of maps, please contact the Bike Walk Ambassadors at 612-333-3410. Funding for online versions of the Minneapolis Bicycle Map comes from Bike Walk Twin Cities.

Metropolitan Council Bicycle Maps
The Minneapolis Park Board provides a mileage chart for local parkway paths and trails.
Nice Ride MN has an online, interactive map of its bike share kiosk locations. Free pocket maps are available widely at many retail shops in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
CycleTracks is a smartphone application used by the Metropolitan Council to get a better understanding of bicyclists' routes and habits.
BikeEverywhere provides regional printed and online interactive maps. Print copies are available at Twin Cities bicycle shops and bookstores.
Cyclopath provides point-to-point online route-finding. Twin Cities bicyclists contribute comments about certain routes.
Minnehaha Media prints a variety of free pocket maps, including neighborhoods, trails, and themed exploration maps. Print copies are widely available at Twin Cities retail shops.
Map My Ride offers free tools for calculating the distance of your bicycle trips.
Ride the City provides online route-finding, and shows the location of bike shops and Nice Ride MN bike share locations.
Metro Transit is the primary transit service provider for the Twin Cities. Online trip planning features allow you to integrate transit into your bicycle trips.
Mapnificant offers time-based mapping options for bicycle and transit trips.
