Online Survey for Cyclists & Pedestrians Now Available

The Minneapolis Department of Public Works would like to thank each of the 125 cyclists and pedestrians who attended the open house on Wednesday, February 21st! The high attendance speaks to the great dedication cyclists and pedestrians have to biking and walking in Minneapolis.


Results from the surveys given at the open house are now being tallied. In the meantime, we need your help to complete more surveys. If you didnt have a chance to attend the open house, please fill out our online survey. Please let friends and family members know about this survey as well.

As far as the open house details, 80% of attendees were from Minneapolis, and 8% were from St. Paul. The remaining 12% who attended were from outlying areas, including Brooklyn Park, Edina, Hugo, Inver Grove Heights, Lino Lakes, Moundsview, New Brighton, Richfield, and Shoreview.

The city would like to thank three businesses for their donations at the event. Peace Coffee provided drinks, while Seward Co-op and the Birchwood Cafe donated pastries, cookies, chips, fruit, and crackers. Barely a drop of coffee or a crumb of food was left behind!
