The City of Minneapolis is celebrating Welcoming Week September 9 - 18, 2022.

Welcoming Week is a nationwide celebration that brings together: 

  • Immigrants
  • Refugees 
  • Native-born residents

Celebrating together helps to foster a sense of community. As a Welcoming City, we host yearly events in recognition of Welcoming Week. We do this to welcome new residents to the city.
