Join us to celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)

The City of Minneapolis wants everyone to be able to access our web content. People with disabilities and from all backgrounds should have a successful digital experience. 

For example, getting to:

  • Web-based services
  • Content and information
  • Other digital products

How we're celebrating GAAD this year

The City’s web accessibility training will focus on writing in plain language. Colette Aburime Leppala and Lynne Figg, with the City’s web team, will conduct an online session.

From your web content, emails and newsletters, effective content is accessible to all. Writing in plain language sets the foundation for accessibility.
