The City provides flood and flood prevention information as a courtesy and service to its citizens and shall not and does not warrant nor endorse in any manner the information provided. This information is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be relied on for any official purpose. Prediction of the extent or duration of flooding is imprecise and based on many assumptions about snow and ice conditions and how water will move across land and within surface water channels and basins. All future flooding scenarios are also affected significantly by weather conditions, including, but not limited to, temperatures and patterns of snowfall and rainfall.

Any information about how far floodwaters may reach or how long they may remain there, generally or with respect to a specific property, does not necessarily represent the most likely scenario, and the City does not represent any particular level of probability associated with any predicted scenarios. Property owners and other interested people should rely on a licensed surveyor or other professional retained for specific advice concerning their properties. The City strictly disclaims any and all warranties on the use of flood and flood prevention information for any purpose.
