Street closures

Current street closures  

• Sixth Street South closed between Third and Fourth avenues (both the street and sidewalks). 
• Third Street South, between Second and Third avenues. 
• Second Avenue South, between Third and Fourth streets.
• Fifth Street South, between Fourth and Fifth avenues.
• Fourth Street South, between First Avenue North and Second Avenue South, due to construction and for security concerns.
• Street closures are also in place around the Fourth Precinct, 1925 Plymouth Ave. N., and the Fifth Precinct, 3101 Nicollet Ave.

Our goal is to minimize pedestrian, traffic and transit impacts while keeping the trial secure.

Temporary security perimeters

The City and partners have worked together on a temporary security perimeter around some government buildings.

This include:

• City Hall
• the Hennepin County Government Center
• the new Public Service Building
• the Hennepin County Jail
• police precinct stations

These will be in place for the duration of the trial.
