Homegrown Minneapolis Food Council hosted annual open houses for five years. In lieu of a 2017 Open House the Food Council hosted a community food policy forum on May 23, 2018. The Food Council honored Homegrown Heroes who help expand the community’s ability to grow, process, distribute, eat, and compost more healthy, sustainable, locally grown foods at each Open House in previous years.
