Needles and Syringes | Needles and/or syringes may be collected with garbage if properly prepared. Needle and/or syringes must be placed in a heavy plastic container with a screw on lid, such as a 2-liter pop bottle or laundry detergent bottle. Make sure lid/cap is screwed on and secured with heavy duty tape. Bag and place the filled container inside the garbage cart. There is no need to label the container.
