Pets: Contact a veterinarian, cremation service, pet cemetary, or humane society.

Farm Animals: Call the MN Board of Animal Health.

Road Kill: Call the road authority that has immediate responsibility. This will either be Hennepin County or the City's Street Department.

Rendering Services: Call the Minnesota Board of Animal Health.

Discs-Floppy

If reusable, erase the files and reuse the disk. Check the Yellow Pages under "Compact Discs, Tapes, Records - Retail", to check if a nearby store will buy or accept as donation.

Hennepin County's HHW & Recycling Drop-Off Facilities will accept audio, video, and computer media for recycling. If unable to donate or deliver to Hennepin County's Facility, bag and place media inside your garbage cart.

Metal doors are collected on recycling week only. Place next to the garbage cart on the recycling day. Limit of 2 large items per recycling week. Please post a sign or write on the item "For Solid Waste". Item will be picked up on next business day after recycling day. Must remove glass from metal doors.

Wood doors are accepted on garbage day. Limit of 2 large items per week. Please post a sign or write on the item "For Solid Waste". Item will be picked up on next business day after recycling day. Must remove glass from metal doors.

Both items are accepted at South Transfer Station with a voucher. Vouchers are available to customers of Minneapolis Solid Waste & Recycling, see Voucher Program for details.
