Do NOT place in the garbage cart. This item NOT collected by Solid Waste & Recycling or accepted at the South Transfer Station. Disposal with garbage is prohibited. |

Needles and Syringes |
Needles and/or syringes may be collected with garbage if properly prepared. Needle and/or syringes must be placed in a heavy plastic container with a screw on lid, such as a 2-liter pop bottle or laundry detergent bottle. Make sure lid/cap is screwed on and secured with heavy duty tape. Bag and place the filled container inside the garbage cart. There is no need to label the container. Solid Waste & Recycling will not collect "Sharps" containers. Inquire about disposal options at a health care provider or pharmacy. South Transfer Station will NOT accept this item.

Neon Lights |

Newspaper |
Newspaper including ad inserts. Place in paper bags or bundled with string or twine. Each bag or bundle must weigh less than twenty (20)lbs. |

Office paper, mail, envelops, manila folders, notebook paper, Post-It Notes®. Place in paper bags. Include with boxboard. |
