Event planners and coordinators seeking to go green and achieve low-waste events can receive free, customized assistance from Hennepin County.  Staff can help you create waste reduction plans, educate vendors, train volunteers and provide collection options.  Access the following green event planning resources at www.hennepin.us/eventrecycling.

Containers: can be borrowed at no cost to add recycling and organics collection to events
Event recycling and waste reduction guide: Guide for before, during, and after event tips to make your green event efforts a success
Green event resources: Including signage, sample letters for vendors and presenters and more.
