100 Resilient Cities
Cities around the world are building city resilience. They are connected through a global network of 100 Resilient Cities, pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation. Minneapolis joined 100 Resilient Cities in 2016.
As part of its membership in 100 Resilient Cities, Minneapolis gets funding to hire a Chief Resilience Officer, support for developing a resilience strategy, access to a platform of partners and services, and membership in a global network of cities working on city resilience.
By being part of this network, Minneapolis benefits from the learning others cities have done in building city resilience. At the same time, Minneapolis contributes to this network as a global showcase for the great work happening in Minneapolis.
