About Regulatory Services
The Regulatory Services Department is responsible for the supervision and management of Regulatory Services sections including Housing Inspections, Fire Inspection Services, Problem Properties Unit, Minneapolis Animal Care & Control, and Traffic Control.
The Department is charged with the responsibility of protecting the health, safety and welfare of Minneapolis residents through a program of regulation, inspection, and enforcement of laws and ordinances pertaining to housing inspection, fire inspections, traffic control, problem properties, and animal care and control.
